GAAP legal counsel has an experienced team of lawyers who advise and act for management corporations (MCST) and managing agents (MA) on issues relating to the management and ownership of strata properties.

In addition, our legal counsel also handles all GAAP’s franchise enquires and legal issues.

Tan Cheng Kiong

Graduated from the National University of Singapore with an L.L.B. (Hons) and was called to the bar in March 1990.

Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese, fluent in Hokkien and has a working knowledge of Cantonese,
Teochew and Malay.

Socially, he is the Chief Commissioner of the Singapore Scout Association, as well as Consultant and former Vice Chairman of the Asia Pacific Region Scout Committee and member of the Governance Review Task Force of the World Scout Movement.

Mr Tan is a Board Member of the People’s Association, and a former Council Member of the National Youth Council.
